I would like to pass onto you and your company this letter of appreciation for the quality that you have instilled in your product.

Team Mitsubishi Ralliart have campaigned two All Wheel Drive Mitsubishi Magna's in the six rounds of the 2004 Globalstar Australian Rally Championship. Both of these cars were fitted with DBA 4000 series brake discs.

The Magna's won the Australia cup Class of the Globalstar Australian Rally Championship with six starts, six finishes and six first and second places in six different events, an outstanding result for a standard production car.

The Magna in production car trim is very heavy in comparison to other vehicles used in competitive motorsport, and this weight is always detrimental to the life of components particularly brakes. At no time did we experience any brake problems with the Magna's while being used in competition.

At the beginning of the 2004 season we fitted new DBA 4000 series discs to the front and rear of each car. At the end of the season some 1200 competitive stage kilometers later the rear discs were as originally fitted and the front discs had been replaced twice. Based on the mass of the vehicle and how competitive it was this is a true testimony to the durability of your product.
